AIGA Austin

Our biennial design competition is pitting Texas designers toe to toe, contending for star status! AIGA Chapters Austin, Dallas, Houston and our newest Texas chapter, San Antonio, invite you to enter this competition. We want to see what you've got, whether you're a born and bred Texan, or you just got here as fast as you could; whether you're a seasoned cowboy in this industry, or you're an eager rookie with a keen eye; whether you're in cahoots with a big ole design firm, or a self-employed workhorse. Heck, even if you're a student, you're welcome to throw your hat in the ring.   It's $25 per piece If you're a member of AIGA, non-members pay $50.Check out the categories at AIGATexasShow.com, dust off your best pieces, and send them in, along with the answer to the creative brief, "What makes this an example of stellar design?

New York City, AIGA National Design Center, August

Competition winners will be presented with their awards at the Austin Opening. Those not present can receive their award during their regional exhibit. The 2012 Catalog* will accompany the exhibit and will be available for $10. Entrants accepted into the show will receive a complimentary catalog.

*2010 Inaugural Texas Show collectible catalogs from the AIGA Archive are available for free to AIGA members, and can be purchased for $5 by non-members.
