Description

Heroic Media (formerly Majella) is a pro-life mass media organization based in Austin that is currently experiencing significant growth nationally.  Do you or does someone you know have a passion for building a Culture of Life and have skills in the Communications area?  We currently have an opening for a paid internship in our Marketing organization, reporting to the Director of Communications and located here in Austin (our headquarters is near 183 & Duval).  Our preference is for someone who could dedicate 30+ hours per week in this role.  Here is a brief job description:

 Responsibilities:
·         Designing invitations, flyers, occasional print advertisements
·         Researching for press releases, commercials and public service announcements
·         Assisting as needed at various events with decorating, prep, etc.

 Skills desired:
·         Knowledge of desktop publishing software, preferably Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
·         Understanding of communication concepts regarding design, writing, editing
·         Flexibility and comfortable in a continually changing environment
·         Belief in Heroic Media’s mission
